Contrasting and Re-Imagining the Margins of Kinship (CoreKin) – our brilliant research team (the PI is Antu Sorainen) received a prestigious 4-year research project funding from the Academy of Finland.
The CoreKin project starts in September 2016, and continues until 31.8.2020.
We will create a satellite website for CoreKin – follow this site for the link and more news!
Quotes from the review panel:
“A powerhouse of researchers who could be involved in the creation of new ideas about relationships, kinship, family, feminism, sexualities and marginalised experiences in a range of different contexts and situations paying close attention to understanding how intimacy works.
This is such an important project, dealing with issues that could transform the ways we think about kinship in a number of contexts, that the mutual advantages will be considerable”.
